What is the best eye shadow color for blue eyes?

I have large blue eyes. I have been told that brown eyeshadow looks best with blue eyes because of the contrast. I prefer to keep my colors looking more natural but brown doesn't seem to look good. Any suggestions?What is the best eye shadow color for blue eyes?
try cooler colors to compliment your eyes, rather than warm colors for contrast.





silvers, pinks, greys, even violet, they all go great with blue.

yes brown eye shadow does bring out the beauty in blue eyes. Brown is probably the most natural looking eye shadow there is. Make sure it is not a dark brown. Go for a very mellow shade that you can blend in with your skin





I would also recommend a shimmery gold, this will also make your eyes pop





never go with blue, this will not make your eyes pop and will not look natural





pink seems to be another natural color that looks good with pretty much all skin tones





before you put eyeshadow on, test it on your hand to see how the color looks with your skin tone
i think a dark color to bring out blue dark but not to dark

umm pink green , like a tanish color mostly light colors would look gud
On my blue-eyed clients, I use beigy golds (Summer by Bare Escentuals) as a base then a spicy coppery brown (Hottie or Sex Kitten by Bare Escentuals) in the crease and sometimes to line the lower lid depending on the look I am trying to achieve. I then use Retro or Tortoise (also Bare Escentuals) for the liner. This is a great natural look (or can be a smokey look is applied properly) that will make blue eyes pop!





Other good colours for blue eyes are golds, bronze, plum, eggplant or aubergine, and mossy greens.





I also love to see an iridescent shadow (Hot Spot by Bare Escentuals or Vellum by MAC) swept across the lid and then use a bold eyeliner (Retro again). This is a very sexy look for blue eyes and will really make them stand out.

You can use a nude base with a shimmer, and wicker color for the highlight. The darker colors, like brown, often look too forced.





Also, many blue-eyed people can wear pinks as well.
