What color eye shadow brings out blue eyes?

I have really blue eyes but I want to make them stand out even more. What colors work? What color eye shadow brings out blue eyes?
Copper for evening, and champagne for day. The complement (opposite on the color wheel) to blue is orange, so you want to pick colors with an orange influence, like a peachy champagne, and a bold copper. When you put opposite colors next to each other, they look brighter. What color eye shadow brings out blue eyes?
I have blue eyes and i want to know the same thing but i use brown with black eye liner and that has worked for me so far!!!!!!!!! Report Abuse

Brown shades. You want to pick a color that will off-set your eye color. If you pick shadows that match your eye color, your eyes wont stand out. I think brown, burgundy, or smokey gray will make them stand out.
smokey look like kate moss, or if it is at night a light shiny grey...

over the eyelids and eyeliner also... and a good mascara will do...
You should probably not use dark colors because no one will pay attention to your blue eyes so you should probably try something peachy depending on your skin tone. If you have dark skin color than you should use orangey colors.
greeen

and black eyeliner :]
brown shadow, black liner and mascara.
Brown works best if it is on your lid, and then on the crease line a bit of dark blue.
black obviously, (the contrast!)

and if you're quirky, blue on blue will look amazing too
Browns will definitely work.

Opposite colors on the color wheel bring out eachother.

and because brown is similar to red, which is a hot color, and blue is a neutral, your blue is going to pop out like crazy.
Browns, Golds, Bronze. Try those and make it look really smokey for a more dramatic look. Your mascara should be really dark too to bring out the light blue :)
To make them stand out, avoid blue eyeshadow or anything bluey... I'd say go for a brown or a combination of browny colours
