What eye shadow would be good for my eye color?

So I have violet eyes and I really don't know what color to use for eye shadow. Yes, they are natural. They have a brown tint to them. I've tried a darker shade of purple and also a charcoal color. What eye shadow would be good for my eye color?
Purple and blue are almost related. Violet eyes can either be more brownish or more blueish. Most people think blue eyes are prettier.

They are also easier to bring out in make-up, because they are brighter than black. I think you should wear a blue eye shadow. Bring those features out for the world to see! Eye shadow can help. Wear a blue color. Blue is very general, I'll be more spicific.

As you move up toward your eye brows the eye shadow should get lighter. There should be three different shades, not counting bledend colors. Get your eye shadow ready! Get out a deeper royal blue, and a light powder blue. Get 2 Q-tips out. First start at the bottom (closer to the eye). Make sure the blue stretches across the whole bottom part of the eye lid. Wear a darker, deeper royal blue.

Then the next side of the Q-tip, for the middle mix the royal blue with the light blue. You should get a mixed color. Then you apply it above the dark blue shadow. Next you take another Q-tip and apply the light powder blue.

Next if you see this looks like you applied a little too much, take a tissue and blot, but do not blend colors, also do not make the shadow go off out of the eye lid.

Now what you just did was brought out your beautiful eyes. To add extra affect, you can add a little mascara. You can wear this every day. But if you feel like changing it up a bit, thats fine too. Hope I helped :)What eye shadow would be good for my eye color?
Zebra stripe. Or you could try green if you're not that adventurous.
ermm like a hazel atumn-y color would look nice
Green, very lightly.

looks like you have blue eyes?
wow that is an amazing color! hm..I think you should try light browns or sticks with charcoals. also, with your eyecolor maybe try not wearing any eyeshadow at all and just sticking with eyeliner and mascara, it will stand out by itself.
Well, I've got green eyes, and I've always been told that purple shadow was good for green. So I'd assume the opposite would be true as well: green for violet eyes!

Not too green, I guess, or you'll look like you have bruises, but a tasteful, brownish green! :-)

Good luck!
Greens Greens Greens they will make your eyes titilating green is a good hue for any purple tone
Try gold might look good
you should do like a creamy golden brown, or a green with some violet shimmer as eyeliner (light) or a sky blue.
I personally feel if you have violet eyes, try something other than purple.

darker colors like charcoal will bring out the color of your eyes...

you could always try different shades of green and blue, I think that would look nice.
try a little warm goldish brown to make your brown highlights pop out. I'm suprised the charcoal didn't look awsome on your color.
prob a smoke eye color with lite powdery blues. you could prob cross between colors for dark and lite eyes because you color is kindof both. just try different colors and see what you like thats all the matters;
Whites, almond, also try yellow.Browns just like you did are georgeous.
i think that a brown, or green would make them POP!! but the green would have to be a forest green....darker.
