What color of eye shadow would look good with green eyes?

I have green eyes, and I have green eye shadow, but the makeup artist on What Not To Wear said not to wear shadow the same color as your eyes. So what color should I get?What color of eye shadow would look good with green eyes?
I have green eyes as well. For a glamorous look that isn't too harsh try fun metallics. Take a copper colored eyeshadow and blend it on your eyelids and up into the crease, next take a slightly darker bronze shadow and blend it into your crease and outer corners in a sideways V shape. Use a soft gold to highlight your browbone and inner tear duct. Line your eyes with brown eyeliner, only going two thirds of the way in. Any more and your eyes will look smaller, then apply some brown black mascara.





Finish this look with peach blush and lipgloss, like revlons super lusterous lipgloss in life's a peach, peach looks great with green eyes.





For a more smokey dramatic look, like your eyes with a deep dark plum and smudge with a sparkly amethyst eyeshadow.What color of eye shadow would look good with green eyes?
Green: Golden browns, warm taupes, deep purples, soft peaches and soft violets.

for cheaper options, go to almay they have great color selections for your eyes.
purple and orange, (NOT a coral orange, a natural clay orange) will bring out the green, and brown and a champagne color will look good with the green.





You don't want to use the same color because it won't bring out the color. Aim for the opposite of the color wheel.

Oh I know! I bought a blue eye shadow because they say its totally the opposite of my brown eyes so it will make them pop, even if my friends thought i was being ridiculous for wearing blue eye shadow...but I read in the cosmo book that you should wear purple colored eye shadows and girls with blue eyes, browns and gold colors. Trust me you will see your eye popping out, lol oh and lots of mascara!
Yea your not supposed to use the same color of eye shadow as your eyes because your eyes wont stand out like you'd want them too . Try going for the oppisite color like purple or brown those colors would look good with green eyes and make them pop and more noticeable (:

Raisin colours and certain shades of purple look great on green eyes. Actually everything except for pinks and odd corals which make you look ill. Go to you tube. ASK ME WITH AMYB. She's got some great tutorials.
i recommend just going to your local department store. such as wallgreens kmart or walmart. %26amp;%26amp; buy revlon color stay eye shadow.. i have the one for brown eyes. they have for green eyes blue eyes %26amp;%26amp; also hazel.. i think it cost about 6 dollars. =)

I watch the show ! Carmendi often puts on a plum-brownish eyeshadow on green eyes. I knwo that plum colors goes well with green eyes.
