What color eye shadow would be good for brown eyes?

i have alot of eye shadow but i dont know what color would be good for my greenish-brown eyes. does anyone have any tips? What color eye shadow would be good for brown eyes?
Purple + Lavender looks great with brown eyes. So do different shades of pink!

Green also looks very nice with brown eyes- so if you're trying to bring out the green I would suggest that.

And if you want to bring out the gold, use a chocolate eyeshadow with shimmery gold flecks. (This is my personal favourite.)

I personally only use eye shadows for special occasions.

But on an everyday basis, to bring our my goldish/ brown eyes I like to use black liquid eyeliner + black mascara on the top. Just like the way Audrey Hepburn's make up is in Breakast At Tiffany's. Very cute! What color eye shadow would be good for brown eyes?
Sounds hazel to me.

Brown Eyes:

Greens, purples, blues, champagnes, bronzes, gold鈥檚, and browns are some of the most popular shades that play beautifully with brown eyes.

Drugstore Suggestions

1. Bronze, Gold, Champagne, and Browns: Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow, Copper Spice #305, ~$7.00

2. Brown and Blues: Almay Intense i-Color Shadow Trio, For Blues, ~$8.00

3. Greens and Purples: Almay Intense i-Color Shadow Trio, for Greens, ~$8.00

Hazel Eyes:

Those with hazel eyes should go toward more neutral colors such as brown. Many hazel gals have found that brown-based shades give them a fail-proof, gorgeous look every time. Pink is also considered to be a member of the brown family, though few realize it.

Most hazel-eyed folks who have mastered the art of eye shadow swear by a combination of pinks, browns, and occasionally greens.

Drugstore Suggestions:

1. Pinks and Browns: Almay intense i-Color Shadow Trio, for Hazel Eyes, ~$8.00

2. Greens: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers - Trio Eye Shadow, Sea Glass #120, ~$5.00
Any color looks good with brown eyes.

Brown eyes, since they are a warm color, can handle anything!

eyes, such as blue, should always have darker colors because it makes your eyes POP! Light eye shadow on light eyes make your eyes look smaller and duller.

Brown.. I would say.. a light color or even a warm color like a golden brown should do fine.
You could try a dark purple and blend it in with some lighter purple. Or try dark blue and blend it in with a lighter blue. I'd try CARGO; you can get it at Sephora. It works really well and it blends really well also. You can also try putting Maybelline's Define-a-Line in Navy Blue.
i use a light green, and sometimes an extremly light purple. try out a natural light brown shade.
brown %26amp; purple are ur best bet - the brown will look really nice %26amp; natural, whereas the purple will make them stand out more!

u cud also try golds %26amp; greens
You should try a light green. maybe even a golden brown looks good. but not to much.
i have greenish brown eyes 2. I use light brown. And it looks good.
A light layer of soft green and then darker green closer to your eye with dark brown eyeliner
