i have gree/blue eyes and i love to wear purples, mostly egg plant purples. it totally brings out the green, because there opposites. Green colors look really good too (if hazel/geen it looks super good) but i use green and i like plus you have red hair and that will look with green.

Choosing An Eyeshadow

These colors are some of the most popular for green eyes.

Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup tips for green eyes. I personally really like the way deep purples look with dark green eyes.

Colors To Avoid

When you're learning makeup tips for green eyes, it also helps to know what colors you might want to avoid.

First up, blues. Any color of blue doesn't do green eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.

Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.

Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.

Ohhh this should be interesting :D

Play around with bronze colors... also greyish stuff would be fabulous..

DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR GOLD.

Trust me, its not a good combo with your colors.

Very dark, or a plum purple is a good option.

Maybe do a smokey eye with Brown and Purple?? If you do, make sure you add a little sparkle.

Also, sometimes all you need is a little eyeline r( I reccomend Unstoppable by Maybelline ) Apply on te water line right above the lower lashes. :D

I hope you have fun, just remember: When your playing around with makeup looks, make sure you have some vaseline and a wet washcloth around to talke makeup off inbetween looks.

Have fun!
