What are some good eye shadow colors for brown eyes?

Nothing to bright like orange or something. I tend to go for more subtle colors. What are some good eye shadow colors for brown eyes?
Being neutral, brown eyes can go with almost anything. Plums, purples, lavenders, and burgundies are especially attractive. Also, take a close look at the color right around the pupil of the eye - it's usually light brown or green - and use that color as a highlight color on the lid between lashline and crease - it really makes that secondary color ';pop'; and people notice more depth to your eye color. What are some good eye shadow colors for brown eyes?
Eye color should match your hair, so that means darker, smokier colors for brunettes, lighter, peachier tones for blondes, and earth tones for redheads.
i use dark eyeliner for light skin, maybe light brown for darker skin.
i like black.....
I suggest some of the Revlon creme shadows. Their colors are delicate and tend to suite brown eyes. Try the ';champagne';.
every color would match with brown.I like bronzes and red the most and black ;)
I have brown eyes and I find almost any color works. Browns and greens, bronzes and golds compliment. Pinks and purples and blues contrast for some real eye opening effects if you know what I mean. Brown eyes rule.
DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN COLOR,IF YOU ARE OLIVE,THEN PINKS,LIGHT BLUE,GRAY,BLAck,YELLOW always use a shimmer shadow,IF YOU ARE LIGHTER SKINNED,THEN USE A DAKER BLUE OR MAROON.
Brown is definitly the most versatile color of eyes, especially if it is very light or very dark. I am experienced in makeup and I must admit that light brown, green, olive color, or creamy peach/shrimp shades work best. However, stay away from black eyeliners, which seem to darken eyes no matter what color eyeshadow you have on!
You should apply brown and gold eyeshadow. Or, substitute gold with a dark purple.
