Normally, it depends on your eye color.

If you have blue eyes, wear brown.

If you have brown eyes, pink tones (usually lighter pinks).

If you have green eyes, wear light purples (lavenders).

You can usually find complementing color charts in stores that have a fairly large makeup section.

Hope this helps a bit.
depends on my mood and the color of the clothes i'm wearing.
I would say what looks best with all. You can't always match your shirt because it might not look good with your eyes. If I were you I'd go to MAC and have them suggest a all around good eyeshadow combination for everyday or special occasion wear. While you are there have them apply your makeup and see for yourself.
It may be difficult to decide but overall an eyeshadow that matches your outfit BUT still suits you
depends on your skin color, if its tan lighter, ect. and then you see wat tone best fits you
once on a T.V. show they were telling beauty tips and i think they said to never match the eye shadow with your outfit. i think a gold shimmer color goes good with anything.

Good Luck !!!!
Ijust go into a cemist and say oh look at that beautiful shadow
i normally have one similar to the colour of top i am wearing. But try and experiment with different shades of that colour to find which suits with your eyes better. Also try and using two shades of the colour, adding the darker with a medium brush to the side of your eyelids that are away from your nose. It gives a really good affect.
honestly, if you're beautiful, you can get away with a whooooole lot... if you want your eyes to stand out, try to use a shadow that contrasts your eyecolor, but compliments your outfit... let's say you have brown eyes and are wearing an olive green shirt... try a gold eyeshadow, because it will work with both. try to tie your eyecolor and outfit together with a color that is in the same tonal family.
depend on your skin and wat mood i'm in. i use dark blue, i was watching america's next top model and the make up artist said not to match your eye shadow to your outfit.

well I usually use the ones that match my clothes. But if you don't feel like doing that just use brown or tan. It looks really great and you don't have to buy loads of colors.
?
i choose a shade that either matches or complements my top. Baby blue eyeshadow looks cute with pink tops and vice versa. Experiment and you'll be surprised with the combos you can come up with that look cute. Don't get locked into one look, make up is about experimenting.
look at the color of your eyes and you will see little flecks of color in them, like gold or blue or some color that makes them what they are...your shadow should be one of those colors, not the color of your eyes....actually, most people choose the opposite color of their eyes for their shadow....for example: blue eyes, coral or orange or red toned....green eyes, lavender or purples, brown eyes can use about anything, but browns make them seem like too much of one color, hazel eyes need plum or green usually....try lots of colors till your eyes seem to really stand out...you will know it when you get it right.
choosing an eyeshadow depends on your eye color, skin tone, and hair color. I have blond hair, golden skin and blue eyes so i wear pinks and roses on my eyes. it looks great.
I heard once that your eyeshadow shouldn't match with your outfit 'cause matching it would make you look like you have too much of the same color. Your shadow can be match either with your eyes, your skin color and depends if your gonna go out during the day or during the night. Day: Light eyeshadow Night: darker or depends on the occasion
it depend es on what color you would like but you could do it to your hair
I don't really try to let it match my outfit or anything. i just pick the one that looks good on me.
I use whatever color accentuates my eyes. My eyes are green, so I use alot of purples and pinks, because my eyes stand out alot more
what color your out fet is
i dont usually choose it becasue it matches my eyes or clothing...if it looks good then i buy it..
never match it with your clothing. Match it with the tone of your skin, hair color, and eye color. Eyeshadow color is different for everyone so it is tricky to find the right one.
depends on the colors im wearing and my mood....
it depends on your preference and style.

i prefer classic, neutral look. so i usually use dark brown, brown, beige, cream, or golden for a more glamorous look (i'm tan)... even if i wear outfits in different colors.
Based on my clothes aand complexion.
You should wear eyeshadow that matches your eyes not your clothes. And you should only wear mat shadows if you have eye issues because frosted colors will enhance flaws. However if you have youthfull eyes you may wear frost or mate shadows with no problem. And almay has brought out color eye shadow compacts to enhance your own eye color.
Eyes.
it depends on the color of my clothes
It has to compliment your skin make it look more beautiful.
