i don't really wear eye shadow but i thought that id try it except i cant really find the right colour for my eyes.

It depends. If you want people to notice the color, use blue eyeshadow. If you want them to notice the entire eye, don't use shadow, but a color slightly lighter than your skin just underneath your eye. It bounces light off of them.
