i have brown eyes and black hair (asian descent) and want to know what color eye shadow should i useEye shadow?
hm....anything light and bright, stay away from the dark colors. It CAN NOT match your clothing, no matter what anybody else says, always use a different color than what you are wearing.Eye shadow?
Choosing Eye Makeup Colors

You want to flatter your eyes...don't match eye shadow to what you are wearing.

Since your hair is black, I'd go with deep bronzes and golds. Purples would also be pretty. I think the key is shimmery and dark. You could also try a cobalt blue or a dark green but the blues and greens might clash with your skin--you'd have to experiment with those.

I'd stay away from pink.
pink and purple
Go for jewel tones like light pink, shimmery browns or light purple. This will definitely play up your brown eyes and black hair.
the best color for you if your skin tone is light should be a light tan or gold colors. if your skin tone is darker you should use a darker brown and light colors close to your eye. and a light color close to your eye brows. :)
Whatever floats your boat. I'm joking, I have black hair and brown eyes too, and my favorite eyeshadow colors to use are green and purple. I think it looks pretty neat. =P
hmmm green would look realy pretty but realy any color but make sher you mach with ur outfit!!!
green or pink
anything would work really. just make sure it matches the outfit you will wear and dont put on 2 much. o god stay away from green.
gray or golden tobacco
Here's a great eyeshadow %26amp; eyeliner trick for Asian eyes...

Since the eyelids of Asian women can seem to disappear when the eyes are open, you can add definition by sweeping a medium-toned shade across the lid %26amp; brow bone. Dust under the brow with a light highlighter shade or awhite eye shadow to accentuate the brow bone and then use a black pencil liner to line the upper %26amp; lower lash lines. Make sure line is very fine %26amp; natural looking. And then black mascara but curl lashes before you apply mascara to top and bottom lashes. To make your eyes really pop smoothly apply a white eye pencil on the inner skin of your eyes. This makes your eyes really pop. White liner may sound odd, but it really opens up the eye. You can also try putting it on the inside corner of both your upper and your lower lids.

When you apply eye shadows it depends on what look you are going for. Make sure your brows are manicured. Until you get your brows professionally waxed, tweezed or threaded, you won't realize how much they affect the rest of your face. Cleaning up your brow line of stray hairs, adding a slight arch and filling in sparse spots are key to making eyes look much larger.# Prep the lid. The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base.

If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner. Blend in color on bottom lashes For color on the bottom (a key smokey eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner %26amp; the key is to 'smudge it'. You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect. Apply light base color Again, the key to a smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone. Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base %26amp; eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line %26amp; blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.

1. Remember to keep lips nude. When applying strong makeup (like smoky eyes or red lips) put the focus on either eyes or lips, never both. (Think Angelina Jolie: She either plays up her huge eyes or her huge lips, never both. If she did, she'd look like a clown).

2. For a bit of fun, try a blue or purple mascara. It will make blue eyes 'pop.'

3. Liner doesn't have to come in pencil form. Makeup experts know eyeshadows make some of the best eyeliners. To do this take an eyeliner brush (available at Sephora, MAC or any dept store), wet it, then dab wet brush into the dark shadow. This allows for a deep, precise line. You can also use the dark shadows without wetting brush first. Either way, eyeliner is necessary for smoky eye.

4. This season go jewel-toned (blue is great for you blue-eyed girls) %26amp; keep your eyes smoky but stay away from dark browns %26amp; black %26amp; go for a deep purple, a gold-brown or any of the many vibrant colors in for 2006.
