What color eye shadow is good for grey/blue eyes?

Right now I am using a gold sparkle sort of eye shadow and some black eyeliner. But I want some new colors for the new year! What color eye shadow is good for grey/blue eyes?
Choose an eye shadow that complements your blue eyes. Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. The warm hue of these shades contrasts with the cold tone of your blues to really make them pop. Use a shade that is darker in tone than your eye color to make your baby blues shineWhat color eye shadow is good for grey/blue eyes?
Blue Eyes:

As a general rule, those with blue eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. Many have found using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.

Drugstore Suggestions:

1. Violets and Purples: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers, Trio Eye shadow, Dance Party #125, ~$5.00

2. Gray and Deep Blue: Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow, Sultry Smoke #342, ~$7.00

3. Taupe: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers - Single Eye Shadow, Tapestry Taupe #760, ~$4.00
GOD NO PURPLE. all colors not to use: blue, green, purple, orange, yellow, red look absolutally tacky and ugly. When you wear make-up you use bronzes/browns/blacks. No colors that arnt natural should be used. I have Blonde hair and brown eyes so i use like a dark plum, not a vibrant purple, but it looks natural because of my other features. My hairdresser told me this. :D

** You should use Black eyeliner, like usual, but try a darker shade just above the eyelid, and then a liter brown on top of that. You would look great!
um... you can pritty much use any color, its not like a color wount look bad on your eys just because of what color they are. but if you really want the blue in your eyes to really pop and stand out, use brown eyeshadow.

i have the same color eyes as you exccept mine has some green in it too and my friend is always telling me that brown will really make my eyes pop.
Well, I usually use a sparkly brown myself. Brown really makes blue eyes pop. If I were you, I would experiment with some colors to find something that you really like.
Charcoal would be pretty, or a silvery shade with a bit of shimmer. Browns are always pretty too, regardless of eye color.
different shades of pink.
i have the same colour eyes and i use earthy greens and browns with a green or brown eyeliner

mix and match see what you come up with
browns are good. sometimes, a lilac is pretty smudged on your eyelids.
do a smokey eye but with brown tones

also try pink
I think green or pink. It's boring putting blue over blue eyes!
PURPLE!
