I have blue eyes.... and any color works with my eyes... What color eyeshadow doesn't really have to much to do with what your eye color is, as it does with skin tone and hair color... so, figure out what season you are, and work from there... some people, like myself, have a skin tone where they can get away with any eye shadow color. When you're pairing your eyeshadow with your eye color, it's to make your eye color ';pop';... so like colors, or contrasting colors, are great in that respect.





Here's what's up... rather than worrying what color looks good, find a style you like... here's some things to consider:


Do you like light or dark eyeshadow?


Do you like modern or retro looks?


Do you like heavy eyeliner?


Do you like neutrals, pastels, or bold colors?


Do you like to wear ';falsies'; (fake eyelashes)?


Do you like cat eyes?

Wish I had a picture for you but the only suggestion I have is to check a ';color wheel'; you see them at art supply and craft stores.


Look at the colors that are opposite the blues. They are in the browns taupe and peach tones..opposites go together whether it's paint or make up. Also think about your skin tone if you are extra light then I'd use something very soft the darker your skin tone the more intense colors you can wear.

I have blue-grey eyes and have been wearing MAC shadows. For regular wear I love their metallic and matte browns/bronzes i.e. Antiqued and for Drama I love their eyeliners in Foxy Lady and Boredeauxline and the Nocturnel and Creme de Violet to create a seafoam-green affect.





My hair is copper with blonde streaks. If you hair is dark brown/black their pinks look amazing with blue eyes and dark hair.
The best colors i would advise would be :


-rich warm browns


-warm taupes


-soft peaches


-and shades of blue if you know what your doing.
