I really want to make my eyes just pop. What is a good eye shadow color for green eyes?
Shimmery plums, greens, golds, and chocolate browns will all make green eyes stand out.
I like to use a dark plum eyeliner on my green eyes and that really makes them pop and it's something different from every day black liner. What is a good eye shadow color for green eyes?
brown is really good it makes your eyes pop!!
a) If you want popping eyes, go for bright colors like blue or even green to go with your eyes. If you have small eyes, use a magenta on the bottom and then fade away with a champagne/nude color on the very top of your lid. This is only if you want your eyes very noticeable.
b) If you have big, soft-toned eyes, try lavender on the bottom and fade away with really light pink. Finally, a good way to blend it all together is with a little mascara. Don't use any nude for this look, it will make you look like a person with allergies!
blue..teal, something bright. brown, too
choose the color opposite from your eye color, so in this case, PURPLE.
try an eggplant shade, something like this:
http://www.marykay.com/color/eyes/viewal鈥?/a>
good luck! and whatever you do, DON'T use green!
any color that is bold. i would go with MAX eye shadow. i got it for my sister for chirstmas and she has green eyes. she loves it!
A shade of plum or a chocolate brown with a little touch of a non-frosted ecru shade right under brow where it arches or the outer third if your eyebrown don't have an arch. I have hazel eyes and I use a cappucino brown above the eyelid and below the eyebrow and I like how that makes them look.
A deep plum would be great for brown or green eyes!
metallic brown or grey
A silver or aqua would prolly look pretty good. Try a really light pink like a baby pink or maybe even a white eyeshadow might look really good. =D
silver, variations of purple, neutrals
Grey looks beautiful with green eyes!
i have green eyes and when i do put on makeup i put a mixture of pink and brown but not to heavy cuz i may not look good depending on your skin tone and/or outfit try it!! if that doesnt work then try a mid pinkish color( could be a little sparkly... lol) hope it helps!!
Use a different palat of colors....for your eye lid use a more darker color like plum....in ur mid eye use a soft color like minty green, and for that area right under your eyebrow use a highliting color like champgain or light bronze.
Plum/Purple or Brown.
light brown or purple

How do I apply eye shadow to bring out my blue-green eyes?
I have brown hair with blonde highlights. How do I apply eye shadow to bring out my blue-green eyes?
sounds like your a cool coloured person.. so soft pinks always look good with a bit of white. i usually put a medium colour on the bottom on my lid.. then in the crease i put a darker colour.. with a touch of a creamy white on top.. to blend it all into the top of your eye. also.. put a little smudge of white in the corners of your eyes... it makes your eyes look more open. How do I apply eye shadow to bring out my blue-green eyes?
I bought some specifically for green eyes. It was raisin colored eyeliner and mascara, and light green shadow on the lids with a dark green in the crease and a lavender on the brow bone. It was in with the rest of the makeup, made by a leading manufacturer, but I don't recall the maker, they had it for every eye color.
Try wearing eye shadows with the color pink on your lids. I have green eyes but when I wear pink eyeshadow is when I get the biggest response for my eye color.
12 inch emulsion paint brush
i have really clear blue eyes and i go for brownsand ambers, different colors that contrast the light eye shade but u can also buy eyeshadow kits for your color
you should wear blue or green or black with half green or blue
just on the top lightly and darker on the bottom...

What eye shadow colors do the best to bring out green-hazel eyes?
To be precise: I have a green iris (the green jumps out at people, so I'm told) and a brown lining around my pupil. Make-up artists only! What eye shadow colors do the best to bring out green-hazel eyes?
Lavender, and all purple shades look great on me. I have hazel eyes too. I find certain tawny taupes really make my eye color pop. Sorry not an artist but I went to modeling school, is that close enough? LOL Seriously, go out and buy some great make-up Artist books there are some fantastic ones out there. (Aucion) Also moss green liner is fantastic, it looks really good on the outside rims ... upper, and lower of the eyes. Also plum liner, and shades in the crease of the eyelid are great... only the crease. Also the shape of your eye will have an impact on what looks the best. Happy painting. What eye shadow colors do the best to bring out green-hazel eyes?
Blairjuice- Thank you and I hope that helps you a lot. Enjoy...oh I love, love chanel lavender quads... I used it for special occasions. Report Abuse
Ooh, green eyes are beautiful!
I suggest using hazel, coppery, and taupe shades for your eyes. It will realy make the green pop, for a ';cat-eye'; effect. Apply copper shades on your inner corners of your eyes and on the bottom lashline. And then apply a brown eye liner on top lashline and smudge a bit. Then sweep on a hazel shade on the crease and the gray shad on the lid for a really enchanting effect. Then get brown mascara (Almay sellls some) and sweep on your lashes to finish off the look.
You will look soo gorgeous !
Plums and neutral tones... I have green-hazel eyes myself
A dark violet layered with light purple will look stunning.
neutrals
purples, tans, or light pinks
to save money try buying the collection of eyeshadows for green eyes. it comes with the three colors and directions for applying it so that it makes the color pop. i'm not sure of the manufacturer, but you can buy it at walmart for like 6 dollars
I have the same type eyes, I dont like colored eyeshadow. I wear the nude sparkley kind, it looke cute and gives you a nice fresh look.prom hair

What color eye shadow should I wear with a red dress?
I have brown hair and green eyes. I am the maid of honor in my best friends wedding so I wanna look my best. What color eye shadow should I wear with a red dress?
I suggest a flesh tone color, but one that will give your eyes more life. One with shimmer sounds like it would work. What color eye shadow should I wear with a red dress?
i would say keep the colours neutral, like shades of brown/beige, maybe a little gold for accent, because it's a wedding u don't want to look too flashy, just natural
try clinique's color surge eyeshadow duo in like mink this goes wonderfully with any red(its like a beige with a chocolate brown)
Also, this goes well with clinique eyeliner in chocolate lustre/
and it still should be soft enough to play with the lips, that's
if you dare to wear a red lipstick..
and with that great color of eyes you should go for it,besides it is your bf getting married;)
Use silver kohl eye-liner. Wear light brown shade blending into a little gold shimmer. It'd go great with your green eyes.
Since red stands out, you don't want to make your eyeshadow too dramatic. I'd go with subtle browns or dark greens to make your eyes pop and keep you from looking too washed out in bright colors.
i would say ...black!
I would go with a smokey grey not to dark though but I think that would look so cute with a red dress.
Earth-Tone Browns are best.
grayish black, or deep brown
A gold flecked shimmer like Bali, by bare essentuals. And where nice gold accesories.
nothin wild because it is formal, jus wear a nice toned makeup to match skin color
Light Gray.Only on the outskirts our your eyes.Medium to heavy on the eye lashes.Your green eyes will say the rest.
gold [:
not a copper gold just a normal plain maybe glittery gold.

How do you travel with eye shadow?
I buy eye shadow in a little jar and when I put it in my bag it breaks up and is just a powdery mess. How do you keep eye shadow from doing that? How do you travel with eye shadow?
I've never seemed to have this problem.
Do you just drop it in the bottom of your bag? If so, then maybe put it in a makeup bag with the rest of your makeup.
Oh, and stop beating people with your purse! :-PHow do you travel with eye shadow?

I travel alot across country and when i do that i use a combination of tricks...rubberband the top and put it in a ziplock sandwhich bag that way if it comes open in my bag it doesnt get everywhere
Put an elastic band around it to keep the top on if that's a problem. Maybe a bit of bubble wrap to stop it from bouncing around so much. Or wrap it in socks or something.
wrap the eyeshadow in a sock or something soft that will keep it stable.
why don't you just put it in your purse unless your hitting people with your purse i cant see how it should break
put a cotton ball on top of it before you close the compact

What color eye shadow should I use for a yellow dress?
I'm going to a wedding this weekend and I ordered a very cute tube top yellow dress from Forever 21. However, the color yellow is more like a mustard yellow, and not so bright like I thought it would be..... bummer
But I am trying to figure out what colors I can use on my face. I have a lot of different color eye shadows from MAC, so just throw out some options and I might have the color.
Thanks! What color eye shadow should I use for a yellow dress?
First, put on a nuetral cream base for color. Put a little dash, try luna from mac. Then, sweep a beige color like shroom or retro spec. Then in your crease use a brown color. Theres tons of browns to choose from. any brown will work. And then line your eyes with brown eyeliner like teddy from mac! You're going to look FABULOUS!What color eye shadow should I use for a yellow dress?
I would recomend grey eyeshadow, with black eyeliner, for smoky looking eyes.
Good luck!
try like a shimmerry, whitish with hints of silver, sort of irridesent.
shimmer whites
Maybe you could use a light yellow or a light gold.
maybe brown
silver or smokey colours,
good luck (:
maybe a silverish grey...
or light yellow..
shimmery whites would be nice...maybe even like a grey or smokey eye would be good

What color eye shadow should I use for my prom?
I have red hair and light green eyes that have a deep blue ring around them. I'm fair skinned and I have pink undertones. My dress is teal, but is a little more blue than green and it's on the darker side. I don't normally wear make up and I was wondering what would look best. What color eye shadow should I use for my prom?
Try a blue eyeshadow on your lid that fades into a light shimmery green. Nothing too harsh though. It sounds like you have light features, and they sounds very airy and pretty =]
Don't worry, I just learned how to put on makeup this year (high school senior), and that's because of theatre makeup. What color eye shadow should I use for my prom?
Do a smokey grey color, nice light silver would look nice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tNRlv00j鈥?/a>
I say go with a purple or blue eye shadow. I'd like it.

What color eye shadow for a blue summer dress? Also would pink lipgloss clash?
Tommorrow Im wearing a blue summer dress, it has a bit of white on it. Im not sure what color eyeshadow I was thinking pink and brown. And for lips should I do red or pink?
Thanks. What color eye shadow for a blue summer dress? Also would pink lipgloss clash?
A light blue would look sexy. No.What color eye shadow for a blue summer dress? Also would pink lipgloss clash?
to be honest with you
it depends on your eye colour and what look you are going for
sliver, black, neutral, green or purple maybe
if you would like to look neutral maybe caramel brown or sliver
if you are going out and would like to look glamourous maybe grey bloack dark brown the smokey look
however if you are going for a summery look i would suggest a nice turquoise, purple, green something bright and bold and to top it of the oink lip gloss
neutral or summery - yes pink
glamour ummm probably nude lipgloss or clear :P
hope this helps yoou
xx
Wear the pink lip gloss as long as it matches your natural lip color (it looks better like this)
And the brown eyeshadow would go nicely with your outfit
*remember less is always more so make sure it looks natural and effortless.
play up only one feature, so if your going for pink, tone down the eyemakeup
if not go sheer lips, just a light gloss with light blue eyeshdaow or depending on what accessories you use, try a gold or silver :)
have fun!
pink eyeshadow and pink lipstick. :)
pink lips the red is too boldprom hair

What colour eye shadow/eye liner looks good with blue-grey eyes?
Thanks in advance :)What colour eye shadow/eye liner looks good with blue-grey eyes?
Obivously, it depends on your skin tone too :)
Gold %26amp; silvers are tricky, see what they look like your skintone. My mum can't wear gold. She's pale %26amp; pink toned, it just doesn't look right even though shes got bluey grey eyes.
She can wear silver, it looks okay.
Try blues, avoid blacks.
Turquoises will look nice. Really vibrant :D
Purples will look nice too, but yet again depends on your skintones.
Avoid reds, oranges %26amp; pinks as they make your eye look ill!
Try green too :)
Try nice browns, not too dull ones though! What colour eye shadow/eye liner looks good with blue-grey eyes?
deffinately dont use blue or the same kind of colours as your eyes. use some smudged, natural and dark browns to bring out the blue in your eyes making them seem bigger and bluer. it works a charm trust me ! i have that colour eyes too.
also you could use a thin black liquid liner on the eyelid where your eyelashes meet !
i didnt really know how to explain that LMAO
good luck
hope this helped a lot

Complementary colours will bring out your natural eye colour, so try and go for those. Take a look at a colour wheel to get a broad idea of what might work:
http://www.ficml.org/jemimap/style/color鈥?/a>
Because your yes are cold, the best complementary colors are warm ones, colors with red or brown in the base. Plum, or burgandy, etc.
same here.
i first use liquid eyeliner (black) on the top and black pencil on the bottom.
i then use white eyeshadow and go over my eyelids in a light brown, with a bro sh. looks lush
Green looks great.
I saw an advert for lilac/purple in the avon catalogue and that looked great with blue/grey eyes.
Beige or brown, it brings out the lovely blue in your eyes.
purples, silver, blacks and grays, green, and blue
plum, purple, silver(s), charcoal(s)
Smoky grey eyeliner and
green or grey eyeshadow.

How do I keep my eye shadow from creasing?
I seriously have tried so many thing... Urban Decay Primer Potion, to MAC, physicians formula... and seriously NONE of them have worked. any suggestions? How do I keep my eye shadow from creasing?
erm use different eyeshadows and use powder aswell :)How do I keep my eye shadow from creasing?
what i do is get an undercoat or something that is a little wet to hold the eye shadow there. i have this 'Color Institute' which i got for christmas before and it's just a cream eye shadow. all i do is apply a coat of this over the eye lid with a tough brush so the eye shadow i want to apply originally sticks to the lid with no problem.
you can purchase this cream eye shadow at probably a walmart or a department store around you.
i hope this helps!
You have naturally oily eyelids which is preventing eyeshadow from staying put. Usually a primer helps to prevent this but if all have failed you could try using an oil - free MATTE foundation as a primer, then use a sweep of translucent face powder before applying your shadow.
I gave this advise to someone else who was worried about their prom night and they said it worked really well.
What i've noticed with Urban Decay is that it works well with good quality eyeshadows. Everytime I use it with my cheap stuff, like Meybelline, forget it - it won't stay on all day. Then I use my Clinique eyeshadows and they last all day.
Not sure why that it..
there's a shadow (forget brand but know u can find some at target) that's been mixed with some water or stuff. they call it dream mousse i think. it works for me. you should try it!
Ive never been able to figure it out either....

What colour eye shadow goes with a red dress?
I'm a maid of honour so I'll need something that will work for day time and evening? Many thanks! What colour eye shadow goes with a red dress?
go for a silver eyeshadow, and black eyeliner, so you have beautiful smokey eyes, it will look stunning with a red dress. What colour eye shadow goes with a red dress?
Just go Neutral...Browns...Good Luck!!!
%26lt;3 Kelsey
best thing to do is get either black or gold or silver shoes and bag....then silver or gold necklace bracelet rings etc then use something soft on your eyes like baby pinks and then a bright red lipstick or lip gloss....ull look fab ! oh or you could coordinate the colour of eye shadow with your eyes not the dress...eyeshadow colours amore.lioness,nature,eclipse....but the baby pink will go..just incase you dont like baby pink good luck x
pink eyeshadow or a light red eyeshadow. and a black eyeliner would look quite nice with a red dress too. i hope this helps xxxxxxxxxxx
As you are dark skinned I think that a smudge of a sparkly black eyeshadow would be GORGEOUS with your tone and red dress.
There is a lovely one by Barry M cosmetics (dazzle dust- black) and Jamelia is a keen wearer of them...
A shimmery goldish-pink color, maybe with some burgundy at the lashline.
don't match your make up with your clothes....if you have blue eyes, brown or green, accentuate with the same colour, make the most of your eyes, then work down with a good moisturiser, foundation, blusher and finally powder. work to compliment the colour of the dress by either lightening or darkening as you colour downward using your usual routine
uh maybe silver or gray or gold...i hope that helps! =)
its not about matching makeup and clothing colors anymore...whatever looks best on you is what you should wear (except for something that would clash, like purple or blue). anything from orange to yellow to green, and everything in between.
black or brown.
a big eyeshadow tip is to never match with youre outfit so red is out try shading youre in an ivory and in the contour of youre eyes lids try like a light gold or bugundy/brown will make your eyes and youre dress stand out
light pink
Whatever suits you, but I would stay well clear of pinks and oranges these colours clash with red. After that use whatever takes your fancy. You don't have to match up anymore, that is now dated.
You should get a set with different colours like the Go Quad Eye Shadows from http://www.wishcosmetics.co.uk/acatalog/鈥?/a> this would suit you.
smoky grey with black eyeliner and silver glitter liner for line across top of eyelids (urban decay gitter eyeliners 拢11.50 each but will last years.) and a shiney lipstick or gloss browny/reddish I would say, you'll look gorgeous just try out different ones and write down best one for the day
Go classic with a dark brown. It suits all colouring and all hair colours (well except perhaps bright pink!)
Apply it lightly along the eyelashes and scoop at the outside corner. smudge it. The effect you want for the daytime is just a tone, not too heavy.
For the evening, reapply around the eye for a smoky sexy evening look.
If you are not sure of or confident of using eyeshadows DON';T go for the 'fashionable' colours. The metallics and paleness of many just make a person look older, tired and too be honest not at all stylish.
silver would look nice with red. not too heavy. you could always go for a professional makeup. which will last all day.
Gold, it goes with everything, and looks very glamorous! otherwise, try a smokey eye effect, that looks AMAZING! Don't go for a pale blue of anything like that, it would ruin the dress..you could always go into boots and get a quick 5-min make over, telling the make up artist what you're looking for, they can probably help! good luck! =P
any neutral color. which are colors that go with everything.
Just stick to a smoky grey - maybe, but only with the right skin tone, you could put a pinkier/blushy sort of eyeshadow - (not too dark though), on the brow area - vamp it up with the smokey grey or you could just apply black eyeliner and smude that up to the socket area.
After a few drinks at the reception I'm sure your eyeballs will match the dress perfectly - (old red eyes is back.....)
You don't match eye shadow with your choice of top. Big mistake girls make and end up looking like clowns...it needs to be right for your eyes and skin tone.
Sexy smokey dark eyes
or eyeliner and red glitter(urban decay does fab glitter eyeliners)
depends also on skin and hair colour.
.
A gold shimmer shadow goes GREAT with a red dress and will really compliment your dark skin. I recommend MAC gold shadow because it's high-quality makeup but not too highly priced.
red eye shadow
A lite skin tone coler.
HOT PINK will look fab with a red dress...hope this helps andrie xx
Go with a dark gray. It works well with any color. If you're a blonde don't put too much.
depends on u skin tone...and don't choose a color that's overbearing (make u look like a clown or mime) :P get a light tan or something if ur skin is light, or a dark brown if ur skin is darker.
go for a silver eyeshadow, and black eyeliner, so you have beautiful smokey eyes, it will look stunning with a red dress.

How do you chose your eye shadow?
Should it match your shirt, your eyes, your hair color? How do you picture what color to use?How do you chose your eye shadow?
Hope this will help a little more:
WARM (W)
Skin Color: Yellow, orange skin undertones Eye Color: Brown, green, hazel Hair Color: Brunette, red, blonde
NEUTRAL (N)
Skin Color: Fair/light pink, olive, yellow skin undertones Eye Color: All Hair Color: All
COOL (C)
Skin Color: Blue, pink skin undertones Eye Color: Blue, violet, gray Hair Color: Blonde, brunetteHow do you chose your eye shadow?
Normally, it depends on your eye color.
If you have blue eyes, wear brown.
If you have brown eyes, pink tones (usually lighter pinks).
If you have green eyes, wear light purples (lavenders).
You can usually find complementing color charts in stores that have a fairly large makeup section.
Hope this helps a bit.
depends on my mood and the color of the clothes i'm wearing.
I would say what looks best with all. You can't always match your shirt because it might not look good with your eyes. If I were you I'd go to MAC and have them suggest a all around good eyeshadow combination for everyday or special occasion wear. While you are there have them apply your makeup and see for yourself.
It may be difficult to decide but overall an eyeshadow that matches your outfit BUT still suits you
depends on your skin color, if its tan lighter, ect. and then you see wat tone best fits you
once on a T.V. show they were telling beauty tips and i think they said to never match the eye shadow with your outfit. i think a gold shimmer color goes good with anything.
Good Luck !!!!
Ijust go into a cemist and say oh look at that beautiful shadow
i normally have one similar to the colour of top i am wearing. But try and experiment with different shades of that colour to find which suits with your eyes better. Also try and using two shades of the colour, adding the darker with a medium brush to the side of your eyelids that are away from your nose. It gives a really good affect.
honestly, if you're beautiful, you can get away with a whooooole lot... if you want your eyes to stand out, try to use a shadow that contrasts your eyecolor, but compliments your outfit... let's say you have brown eyes and are wearing an olive green shirt... try a gold eyeshadow, because it will work with both. try to tie your eyecolor and outfit together with a color that is in the same tonal family.
depend on your skin and wat mood i'm in. i use dark blue, i was watching america's next top model and the make up artist said not to match your eye shadow to your outfit.

well I usually use the ones that match my clothes. But if you don't feel like doing that just use brown or tan. It looks really great and you don't have to buy loads of colors.
?
i choose a shade that either matches or complements my top. Baby blue eyeshadow looks cute with pink tops and vice versa. Experiment and you'll be surprised with the combos you can come up with that look cute. Don't get locked into one look, make up is about experimenting.
look at the color of your eyes and you will see little flecks of color in them, like gold or blue or some color that makes them what they are...your shadow should be one of those colors, not the color of your eyes....actually, most people choose the opposite color of their eyes for their shadow....for example: blue eyes, coral or orange or red toned....green eyes, lavender or purples, brown eyes can use about anything, but browns make them seem like too much of one color, hazel eyes need plum or green usually....try lots of colors till your eyes seem to really stand out...you will know it when you get it right.
choosing an eyeshadow depends on your eye color, skin tone, and hair color. I have blond hair, golden skin and blue eyes so i wear pinks and roses on my eyes. it looks great.
I heard once that your eyeshadow shouldn't match with your outfit 'cause matching it would make you look like you have too much of the same color. Your shadow can be match either with your eyes, your skin color and depends if your gonna go out during the day or during the night. Day: Light eyeshadow Night: darker or depends on the occasion
it depend es on what color you would like but you could do it to your hair
I don't really try to let it match my outfit or anything. i just pick the one that looks good on me.
I use whatever color accentuates my eyes. My eyes are green, so I use alot of purples and pinks, because my eyes stand out alot more
what color your out fet is
i dont usually choose it becasue it matches my eyes or clothing...if it looks good then i buy it..
never match it with your clothing. Match it with the tone of your skin, hair color, and eye color. Eyeshadow color is different for everyone so it is tricky to find the right one.
depends on the colors im wearing and my mood....
it depends on your preference and style.
i prefer classic, neutral look. so i usually use dark brown, brown, beige, cream, or golden for a more glamorous look (i'm tan)... even if i wear outfits in different colors.
Based on my clothes aand complexion.
You should wear eyeshadow that matches your eyes not your clothes. And you should only wear mat shadows if you have eye issues because frosted colors will enhance flaws. However if you have youthfull eyes you may wear frost or mate shadows with no problem. And almay has brought out color eye shadow compacts to enhance your own eye color.

Any suggestions on long lasting eye shadow?
I am looking for a long last eye shadow, preferably powder. I know that there are effective bases to wear under, but I don't like the feeling of them. Any suggestions?Any suggestions on long lasting eye shadow?
a lot of eyeshadow bases make the shadow look caked on because they are glycerin based (and uncomfortable)..try not using it.. try using your concealer or base on your lids then put the shadow over it.. i recommend mac.. i swear by mac shadows.. and i don't wear a base under it..Any suggestions on long lasting eye shadow?
you can make it last longer by doing a couple things:
1. use it wet by mixing with moisturizer or eye cream
2. use a primer or eye shadow base
3. use loreal high intesity pigments or those MAC pigments
I don't like most primers either, but Urban decay makes one that doesn't feel like anything is on at all.
I like Revlon's 12 hour eyeshadows, I have one in Pink Opal and it lasts really long. I also like Wet n Wild shadow pots.
Physicians Formula works great! I love it :) They have it at Walmart or pretty much any drug store. And its affordable!
sephora is great
same here really!prom hair

What color eye shadow would look best on me?
I have medium length blonde hair and pretty-fair skin. I also have blue/hazel eyes and always wear black mascara. I'd really appreciate if you could even give me a brand name and/or link to the eye shadow. Thanks!!%26lt;3What color eye shadow would look best on me?
hmm def purples. purples are great for all skin tones and eye colors.
i dont really know how you want your eyes to look. so if you want it to be smokey, i recommend dark brown, bronze, and berry.
there are a lot of great brands out there but if you want a drugstore one it would be almay, they have intense i-color for your blue/hazel eyes and it comes with more than 1 color so that will hellp you! =]
other than that i like lancome eyeshadowsWhat color eye shadow would look best on me?
If I were you, I wouldn't wear blue eyeshadow because blue eyeshadow and blue eyes doesn't really look good. I would go with dark eyeshadow like black or a deep brown.
I hope I helped!

What's the best way to apply liquid eye shadow with a dark color and a light color?
I want to know where is the best place on the eye to apply the dark color and where to put the lighter color to accent the eyes?
also, how can you put on eyeliner and shadow on the top lid without making it smudge? What's the best way to apply liquid eye shadow with a dark color and a light color?
This is just one idea: Put the light color on first on the lower lid of the eye and a little right below the eyebrow.
Follow that with the darker color in the crease of the eye. Line the eye with eyeliner last so you don't smudge the eyeliner.
You may want to use the eyeshadow brushes instead of sponge applicators. You will be less likely to smudge your eyeliner and you can blend so much better with the brushes. What's the best way to apply liquid eye shadow with a dark color and a light color?
use the lighter under your eyes in the corner near your nose and above your eye lids just under your brow. this make for a brighter eye. use the darker color on the lid and out towards to edges to accent the shape of your eye. use liquid eyeline to easily glide over the shadow without smearing.

Because of the fact that you have light skin and light eyes, it would be too bold to go dark. That's your problem. You've been trying purples and pinks and they are really strong colors - too strong for you. Try light golds, champagne colors, smooth browns and even some natural blues. Stick to either brown or black eyeliner, and make sure you get long-lasting stuff if you're using brown. Because of the lightness of your eyes, the brown will easily ';disappear'; and will vanish if it wears off a bit. :] Hope that helped ...
im the same as you =]
i have the same skin tone eyes %26amp; hair.
i use a dark dark brown eyeliner on my top and bottom lids then put light purple eyeshadow on with shimmer powder over it. for some reason it brings out my eyes.
then i just wear foundation and bronzer and light pink lipgloss.
use a light natural green for your eyes.Don't go to dark because it will look bad on light skin! The green will bring out your eys more

Black eyeliner looks really good with green eyes. So does a smudged out dark brown.
use gold/brown/tan shaddows with a brown liner on top and a green liner on the bottom. It will make them pop!

What is the best way to get loose eye shadow out of carpet?
It's brown eye shadow and it's like a tan carpet. I tried to vacuum it and it made it worse...What is the best way to get loose eye shadow out of carpet?
Here;'s the cleaning solution for eye liner. All the best and good luck! What is the best way to get loose eye shadow out of carpet?
use some tape sticky side down to pick up loose pigment.... then use some eye make up removed...( test a spot first under the sofa or somewhere)... that my best solution
Here is a site that I would highly recommend. They have very high quality stain removal techniques. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck!
This should workk =).........................
Brush (the method of using a stiff-bristled brush to gently remove dried stains and spots) or blot up any excess, taking care not to spread the stain.
Flush (the method of applying stain remover to loosen staining materials and residue from stain removers) with a dry-cleaning solvent such as Afta Cleaning Fluid.
Apply a dry spotter to the stain and cover with an absorbent pad dampened with the dry spotter.
Check the stain every 5 minutes.
Before changing pads, press hard against the stain.
Continue the alternate soaking and pressing until no more stain is being removed.
Flush with one of the dry-cleaning solvents and allow to dry.
If any stain remains, flush it with water and apply a wet spotter with a few drops of ammonia. (Do not use ammonia on silk or wool.)
Cover with an absorbent pad dampened with the wet spotter.
Let it stand as long as any stain is being removed.
Change the pad as it picks up the stain.
Keep the stain and pad moist.
Flush well with water. Repeat if necessary; allow to dry.

What would be the best color eye shadow for hazel eyes?
what color would be best. like ive tried green and it really made my eyes pop, but is there any other better color or technique to make my eyes pop even more? What would be the best color eye shadow for hazel eyes?
Try a Green, dark purple or maybe even a yellow, but a yellow u can see good. Also if you dont liek thoes colors try A teal blue.
If i didnt help u with colors u like try going to the nearest M.A.C store you can find in malls mostly in mervyns and etc.
Or you can go to your nearest beauty school and they can test some on you. What would be the best color eye shadow for hazel eyes?
a brownish red color will always bring out your eyes. top and bottom of lid..
For my green eyes I use a Champagne Freeze color for the lower lid, and Mint Brown for the corners. Both are Maybelline prodcts. I use Expresso Brown eyeliner. This calls attention to my eyes.
they say purple looks good on brown eyes.
I wouldn't know, mine are blue.
:)
a champagne or cranberry is nice because most people with hazel eyes tend to have some red in their hair and a warm skin tone. Otherwise, try the Almay shadow pakage for hazel eyes
If you go to any store that sells makeup, look for almay and they have makeup colors set up specifically for certain eye colors. I do have the hazel eye color set though which consists of black eyeliner, black mascara, the eyeshadow comes with pink that you put on the lid, brown that you put in the crease and a sort of cream peach color that you put on the brow bone.
the best one would be like a dark brown with like a white color right under the brow...

I have brown eyes and I need advice on eye shadow?
I normally stick to browns but sometimes if I'm wearing purple, I'll go with a light purple, etc, but I don't know if it looks silly. For brown eyes what colours of eye shadow look good?I have brown eyes and I need advice on eye shadow?
i think anything with gold flecks of shimmer in your eyeshadow works to bring out brown eyes. yeah, brown eyeshadow doesn't really work with brown eyes, i mean it seems like it makes sense to match the two...but it just makes it duller.
instead try a cream/light gold shadow..especially in the inner corners of your eye. or a purple, it's known for bringing out brown eyes specifically. i have brown eyes, and the usual for me is a smoky eye. try it out!I have brown eyes and I need advice on eye shadow?
out of all the eye colors, brown eyes are the most versatile eye color to have because there is few shades that brown eyes cannot wear. brown is a neutral shade. and you know what they say about neutrals like brown, white, black....you can wear them with anything.
so experiment. play. all color families will work for you, you just need to find the right range of shades within each color that will fit you best.
never wear brown it fights with your eye color purple makes brown pop i also like the smokey eye look on brown eyes
greens and purples look good. never wear crazy colors like red or yellow. blue would look alright as well.
lots of eyeshadow tips are in www.jmbeautytips.com

How do you disinfect eye shadow after conjunctivitis?
have conjunctivitis, and I've had to go through the whole annoying process of throwing out my contact lenses, mascara, etc. But I really want to avoid having to throw out my MAC eye shadows. Does anyone know how I can disinfect them? I've see make-up artists spray something on the eye shadow pots in the store, but I'm not sure what it is... would alcohol ruin them? How do you disinfect eye shadow after conjunctivitis?
not worth taking a chance - here's a rule: don't share makeup - buy new mascara every 3-4 months and before applying makeup ALWAYS wash your hands. When you have an eye infection use papertowels to reduce the risk of spreading germs - change your pillowcases daily. How do you disinfect eye shadow after conjunctivitis?
SWEETIE - DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE - THROW THEM OUT
Please don't use it!
you need to throw it out, and buy new stuff
No matter how expensive the make-up was, it's not worth the risk of re-infecting yourself!!
regardless of the brand- throw it away- it is not worth becoming reinfected. I dont know what department stores spray in them but they should be using fresh applicators for each person.
The best thing to do when you get a new eye shadow is to use a fresh applicator for each application
never share your eye make up (or really any make up for that matter- its just gross)
keep your makeup closed tight when not in use
it is annoying and expensive but well worth it
I would throw it away - I know it's MAC, but it's not really worth it. There's no way you know it's completely disinfected.
throw it out and buy all new eye make up. in fact replace all your makeup
Toss it, and don't replace it. Eye shadow is not attractive on women or girls anyway, we guys all laugh at how much makeup girls put on, and eye shadow is almost a real turnoff.
I have taken cosmetology and as far as I know the only thing you blow on eyeshadow is a fixative - sorry - your makeup is infected and needs to be tossed. I had this same dilemma with some great custom shades but it was better than facing a recurrent infection. Good Luck!

well there is the classic black eyeliner and grey ahadow but in a magazine once i saw a girl with a dark plum smokey eye

u should try it ^-^What color combination eye shadow/liner should I use for smokey eyes?

use black cole color and gray on your lid with black pensil on the top and bottem lids with thick black mascara and mildly smuge in the shadows with a cue tip
Use dark brown and greys and blend together. Use liquid pen eyeliner for the top of the eye and starting from the inside corner move to the outer corner and do a small flick at the end. Use pencil eyeline for your bottom.

What eye shadow would go well with my complexion?
I am 14 years of age, and my mom has started to let me wear mascara, eye liner, and eye shadow. My complexion is milk chocolate brown. Sort of like Gabrielle Union's complexion. So my question is what color eye shadows would go well with my complexion?

If you can find a bronze eye shadow 3 pack one that has a light med and dark tone in the came color family you have all you need.
first apply the med shade over you whole eye lid and the the darker tone in the crease or middle of the eye lid
Second apply the lighter tone to the top near your eyebrows.
Remember a natural look is ALWAYS better going for some sort of Blue shad that doesn't exist in reality is never a good idea and use black or brown mascara always looks better!
Hope i helped!!
I agree with JB. When I do the makeup of people of that complexion I use Bronze/Gold colored like Clinique's ';Spicy'; quad. Even a brick color looks good.
I think maybe a subtle green would look nice for occasions, but a bronze for just casual.
a bronze shimmer would go great with ur complexion..brings out nice undertones

What color eyeliner and eye shadow should i wear?
I have brown eyes and i dont know what color eyeliner and eye shadow to wear. I need it to be cheapWhat color eyeliner and eye shadow should i wear?
black eyeliner and white eye shadowWhat color eyeliner and eye shadow should i wear?
Mascara - It depends what look you're going for. If you want something a little striking, black or soft black will look great!
Eyeliner - black, blue black, green black, etc. (depending on the shade of brown your eyes are) can look lovely. But brown liner (depending on the colour of your eyes and the liner), can draw out the colour of your eyes.
Shadow - I personally think that purples and greens look great with brown eyes. Plums look nice, too. :) Brown is a very versatile eye colour, though. So you could probably get away with almost any colour. :)
Hope that helps! :D
Cover Girl just came out with this set of make up called the ';exact eyelights'; collection. It's the best thing and it's easy to use!!! Since you hav brown eyes, just pick the brown eyes' exact eyelights liner, and do the same with the exact eyelights shadows, and to make it all come together even better, use the brown eyes' exact eyelights mascara for more defined lashes and 4x brighter eyes!!! for more info. go 2 covergirl.com/eyelights and the place the sells them all the cheapest is CVS Pharmacy!!! :)
It all depends on your style..... And what you are looking 4. Are you looking for a more edgy look or a natural look.
Edgy: Black eyeliner, and a darker shadow. Black, gray, silver.
Natural: A brown eyeliner, and natural eyeshadow. Brow, pink, peach.
Also do what you like best. Like 4 me, I like a more edgy look, but on others I like a natural I do not know why, lol. I like to mix and match. Oh and experiment with different stuff. Then you will find something you like :D
Hope I Helped.
I have brown eyes as well.
What seems to work for me and makes my eyes POP.
Is a more gold/brown color eyeliner, on the top and bottom of the eye.
For the shadow, i usually just do a smokey eye,
sometimes i do bright colors when i'm in the mood.
I got my eyeliner from the kohls department store,
and my shadow from walmart!
Black or brown. If you wear blue or some kind of noticeable eyeshadow it doesn't look good . It makes you look like a sl*t . If you want something noticable and it doesn't make you look like your playing with makeup you should wear black or some kind of brown.
Elf (eyes lips face) stuff cost $1. I would check out those brown eyed kits in like a wal-mart (physicians formula has the one I LOVE) and buy shades in the kit from elf (for extremely cheap) and play with shades similar until you get comfortable with experimenting.
Brown eye shadow works great with anybody, and top eye liner is good too. But if you have those dark lines under your eyes then I wouldn't recommend you putting on bottom eye liner.
Good Luck!:)

What color eyeliner and eye shadow would look good on me?
I had really dark brown hair, pale skin, some freckles, and hazel/green eyes. What color eyeliner and eye shadow would look good on me?
OMG! The only difference is that I have dark blue eyes instead! I suggest black eyeliner for all color eyes. Purple or ivory eyeshadow would look nice for a lighter look, but if you want a darker look, go for a dark silver. I strongly suggest purple for hazel/green eyes, though. What color eyeliner and eye shadow would look good on me?
Medium to dark brown eyeliner, at night you can even go for a brown/black. If your eyes are small you don't want to use black cause it'll make them look smaller. If they're big you can get away with it. As far as shadow, you can use a light shimmery green to compliment and enhance your eye color, or go for the natural shimmery pale beige with shimmery almost white on the rim of your eye lids. This will really bring out the green of your eyes, it'll make them sparkle. The point is you don't want a color on your eye lids that will compete with your pretty eye color, just something to enhance them. If the color is pale and shimmery, many colors could work for you. You're lucky with your natural coloring.
foundation: pale mineral powder
blush: light tan/peach color powder on a large round brush. brush it starting a little under your eye and make a half circle upwards around your eye (creates the illusion of a high cheekbone)
eyeshadow/eyeliner: you can do a lot...
smokey eyeshadow with black liner.
purple/pink eyeshadow with purple liner or charcoal gray liner.
green eyeshadow with brown liner.
lips: dark lipstick with a mocha lip gloss.
some tips: for a more dramatic look, take your eyeliner and put it in the outside corner of your eye. gently, make a small line extending your eye, only upward. (think of it as drawing a small check mark at the outer tip of your eye)
when applying lip gloss, be sure to get the top bumps of your lip.
for a smoother foundation, wet your hands and squirt some liquid tinted moisturiser in your hand. whip it and then gently apply to your face. if you still want some cover up on certain areas then apply once it is dried. if your face isn't clear enough to pull it off, then gently brush on a mineral powder overtop of the mosturiser.
when applying eyeshadow, use at least three shades. one for the inner corner, one for the outer, and one for the crease. a dab of light white shimmer always looks good on the very tip of the inner corner of the eye, and just below your brow. it brightens your face.
hope i helped!
It depends on the shape of your eyes. A soft colored eye liner can create a lovely background for pale skin and large hazel/green eyes. Me, I have cat eyes and only accent the outer corners of my upper lid. If I draw a harsh line all the way across I look like I'm squinting. Different shades of shimmer browns, greens, or pale aquas should bring out your eyes. Try different colors and see what you come up with. But make sure you don't use harsh colors. They can look garish on pale skin.
Definitely not black. Try greens, purples, golds, warm colours.
burgundys and purples. try Sketch by MAC its such a cool color its matte, not shimmery or glittery but if you want a frosty color try Cranberry by MAC
black eyeliner for sure(top and bottom) and light green eyeshadow
purple colors look great with hazel/green eyes.

What are the best eye shadow colors for me?
Okay, so I am pale. I have dark brown eyes and I have red hair. What color eye shadows would look best on me? Just give me colors, not any of the specific names just colors.
Ex: blue, light brown, gold.
Thanks! What are the best eye shadow colors for me?
White with black mixed.
Light brown with gold.
Peach. What are the best eye shadow colors for me?
I think it would depend on what you like.
I like the ';smokey'; look on a lot of people, like dark eyeliner and dark colored eye shadow.
If you don't like that then maybe try mixing it up with different colors, like purple. Like I said, it depends on what you like. (:
experiment until you get what you think looks best on you.

What can i do to help my eye Shadow not crease anymore?
I also have been seeing a lot of this new eye shadow that is nice and shiny, loose powder. Wondering if that would help not crease? Also where would I be able to purchase that at?What can i do to help my eye Shadow not crease anymore?
You would need a good base.
You can apply MAC Paintpot or Laura Geller Eye Spackle
What people usually do to keep the eyeshadow on longer and not crease is they would apply Mac painpot then apply NYX jumbo pencil in milk then apply their eyeshow
Another way is to apply mac paintpot then apply Too faced eye insurance
or you just simply put an eye primer alone which it's your choice to pick between mac paintpot, laura geller eyespackle, too faced, etcWhat can i do to help my eye Shadow not crease anymore?
You can get a primer to put on your eyes before applying your eye shadow, I know that mary kay has some and so does mac. If your have a cosmetic store call Sephoria in your town, you can get some there to. I don't know about at like Walgreen's or stores like that, but it doesn't hurt to ask or look there first! Hope this helps!

Can anyone explain the rationale behind blue eye shadow and gymnastics?
I'm watching the girls' gymnastics competition from the Olympics right now and the girls (most of them) have these horrible blue slashes of color under their eyebrows. Does it make them jump higher, run faster, fly through the air? It seems to be the younger girls (but not exclusively so). I just find it very distracting. It's all I can seem to focus on. Anyone else? Outside of that, they are performing brilliantly. Can anyone explain the rationale behind blue eye shadow and gymnastics?
It's a homage to the 80's...just be thankful they thought twice about the leg warmers. Can anyone explain the rationale behind blue eye shadow and gymnastics?
I think it is like any performer it is done to make them stand out and exaggerates the facial expressions. Esp. in some countries that have a lot of mime type theater. That is my best opinion.

What is the best all day stay eye shadow?
Sometimes I use eye shadow and you can't either see it or it's gone within an hour of the day.
What company has the best eye shadows? What is the best all day stay eye shadow?
The best eye shadow is probably Maybeline. It stays longer and its cuteWhat is the best all day stay eye shadow?
Okay, here is a tip... try MAC Paint. It's like foundation for your eyes. It comes in a variety of colors. It lasts for a LONG TIME. you can wear any brand of makeup after that. I swear, it really lasts all day long if you put the Paint underneath.

your lover's shadow !!
without a doubt, stila eyeshadow is one of the best out there. it's heavily pigmented so you only need to sweep the shadow pot once and it STAYS ON. i find that mac eyeshadow tends to crease by 11am
MAC makeup at Macy's and Nordstroms has pretty good staying power; they also have products (for example, creams that you apply prior to your eyeshadow application) that are specifically formulated to make your makeup last, and not rub off or disappear on you. Plus, they have only about a million different types of shades and styles (frost, matte, laquer, etc) to choose from. Just ask one of the consultants at the counter to help you out. They're usually pretty friendly; and don't be scared by all the makeup they usually wear, they're promoting their products. Have fun! =)
Run,don't walk, to your local M.A.C. make-up counter! Their eye shadows are amazing and come in all the best colors! I used other stuff like Neutrogena and Maybelline, until my friend made me over at school one day and I was like, wow! I'm a M.A.C. user for life now! Their whole product line is awesome! It's what all the professional make-up artists use on celebs to make them look gorgeous. (Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a cheesy ad, but you should definitely try this stuff!)
I use MAC eyeshadow but I apply FYeye by Benefit and it really prolongs my eyeshadow
MAC. They have the best pigments and if you get a base, it really makes the color pop, and it makes it stay longer :)
I use this underneath the powder eye shadow.

Mac and Maybeline
Almay, Maybelline (mousse), L'Oreal (Paris or H.I.P) are some of the great drugstore brands that are long-lasting and come at an easy price. For the higher end eyeshadows, definitely try MAC (and why not? It's really only $4 more than L'Oreal...)- an awesome brand. Also, try putting on a thin layer of foundation before you put on eyeshadow- this will give the pigments a base to grab onto. Lightly dust your eyeshadow with loose translucent powder to ';set'; the color- same way you set your concealer/foundation. Hope that helps :)

Choose an eye shadow that complements your blue eyes. Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. The warm hue of these shades contrasts with the cold tone of your blues to really make them pop. Use a shade that is darker in tone than your eye color to make your baby blues shine
I am a former brunette gone red head and with blue eyes and browns have always worked best for me... with pale skin and blond hair stay away from anything to dark it will make you look like a zombie. In summer use lighter shade and in the fall more earth tones.
i have blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin too...so if you wanna go dark...chocolate browns make blue eyes pop. or golds make them shimmer and look good w/ blonde. If you wanna go light a shimmery white is gorgeous for the corners, or a pale peachy color is pretty too...Good Luck! :)
brown, purple, mauve, pink and other neutral tones. i find my eyes look good with either of these shades and then adding on eyeliner and mascara to frame the eye and add boldness to them.
Dark browns, and coppers.
Black smokey eyes also make any color eye's stand out.
Pinks, mauves, and browns (from peach and tan to darker) layered.
Browns, pinks and purples look best on blues.
Light purple!!! Trust me, I'm just like you and I look beautiful!

I think the best eye shadow and liner that goes with hazel eyes is a light color like a light pink or light blue, or even a light purple. I suggest that you use light colors or eyes. It brings your eyes out more.
go with wet'n'wild silver eye crayon it bringss out your eyes a little on the non-natrual side but you will look hot
A few people in my family have hazel eyes. We like dark grey / black eye-liner and light brown, dark green or even a dark aquamarine eyeshadow. It really brings out the colour of your eyes. Skin tone is also an important factor in some cases.
Browns and Greens. You can probably buy it anywhere, like at walmart or something.
Dark brown liner,
light brown or muted purple shadow
You can buy eye shadow in any drug store.
L'Oreal makes shades all put together in one container for hazel eyes. They are mostly browns and greens.
greens and browns. try the almay collection for hazel eyes. you can get that at any walmart, target, etc....
i have the same color eyes and what i use my told me to use this a black eyeliner softly and a cream color with a light blue or what ever matches your outfit but if you want it look natural make sure you have a color is barely noticeable
The best colors for hazel eyes are browns, apricots, purples, plums, khakis or forest greens
this is preety good stuff, i use it myslef, but i have brown eyes, so i use the purple one, you just need to shadows, use w/e type of mascara u want, but it has to be black, eyeline too..
shades of green and gold. use a gold or brown eye liner
plum smudged. with a light periwinkle
This is a kinda long answer but trust me- it'll be helpful!
I absolutely loooove applying eye makeup. Let me help you-
If you have hazel eyes, I light colored pink or plum will do you the best. For eyeliner though, it depends on your hair color. With pink or plum eyeshadow, I would go on the darker side. So, if you have dark hair, use a black eyeliner, if you have light colored hair, use a brown black.
Another tip: buy your eyeshadow in a 3 or 4 pack. For your color eyes, it should include 3 or 4 different shades of pink and/or plum. Powder works best.
And another tip: put the eyeliner on first, it looks more natural after being covered up a bit.
Best tip of all: this is why you want to get eyeshadow in packs of 3 or 4 different shades- this works like magic!: using a makeup sponge brush(eyeshadow usually comes with one or two of these) take the lightest shade and brush onto area of brow bone right under the eye brow, use the most medium shade exactly on the eyelid, and the darkest in the crease of where the eyelid leads into the brow bone.
To make it look even more natural- use a non-latex makeup sponge and gently dab the eyelid/brow bone area.
Enjoy!
I think brown's and greens would look nice!
use brown eye shadow and liner and get it from walgreens at the cheapest price.
I like doing netral colors, like browns and yellows...Eye liners, I've allways done brown and black.
you should use black eye liner and whatever shadow that brings out your skin!! it goes with everything and it'll bring your eyes out even more!!
(just dont use too much!)
you can go almost anywere to get it( wal*mart,Walgreen's,cvs pharmacy) they all have a beauty section...still not satisfied? order it from Avon!!
i have hazel eyes, and i usually wear black eyeliner with a light pink eyeshadow, it really brings out the color of my eyes. you could try that, or you can use the almay line for hazel eyes, its called i-intense.
like a light brown i have the same eye color. What color eye shadow and liner goes best with hazel eyes?
i have hazel eyes and let me tell you loreal produts in brown work the best light brown to a medium brown look really good

What color eye shadow do i wear if i have kinda dark brown eyes?
my eye color is kinda dark brown...what color eye shadow do you think i should wear to make my eyes really pop? or do you think i shouldn't wear any at all because im 100% asian and some asian people don't look good in eye shadow. but i wear eye liner and mascara. i was just wondering if i should wear eye shadow, if so, what color? What color eye shadow do i wear if i have kinda dark brown eyes?
Stick with the smokey look, grey tones. You could do black, slate or navy eyeliner. Some silvers can be beautiful for blending and highlighting. Pearl shades would be beautiful too. To really do something exciting, you might like the emerald greens or turquoise shades for night time exotic looks. What color eye shadow do i wear if i have kinda dark brown eyes?
some silver, black, yellow, green, blue, pink. any of these colors but not too dark.
';pebble'; by neutrogena
Well since your asian it can be hard to get a matching colour. But I think you shouldn't go overboard with eye shadow. personally the category that's best for your eyelids is natural. Try nice colours or make it sweet, by using colours like pink. Remember to use light tones for eyeshadow. I really want to reccomendyou use shimmery eyeshadow. It will really make your peepers pop and make your eye shadow look with mascara and eyeliner stand out! If you have darker skin I suggest you go bold. It will help you stand out. When doing this use colours like purple shimmery eye shadow + the eye shadow and eyeliner. But make sure you don't go overboard beause it can make your look be too busy and you don't want that. Good Luck!
i think that earth tones may be pretty...such as golds, bronzes, khaki, browns...

What kind of eye shadow do you prefer, liquid or powder?
I prefer liquid because it feels smooth and comfortable on my skin while powder makes my skin feel itchy and it can get in my eye easily. What kind of eye shadow do you prefer, liquid or powder?
Powder, you can always add water to it to make it more vibrant. What kind of eye shadow do you prefer, liquid or powder?
i prefer liquid but i like the fine lines you can achieve
powdaa
powder... liquid feels gloopy...
I prefer powder but I have to have an amazing eyshadow base such Urban Decay's Primer Potion =] That stuff has gotten amazing reviews and really does make a difference. ! So I would go with powder with a base underneath. Also the liquid for me creases =/
well powder doesnt last as long, but it doesnt crack like liquid...
I';m going to go with powder :)
powder
powderit doesnt creases and u can make the colour more vibrant by dampening the brush =]
powder...
personally, powder, because you can change the vividness of it by applying water with it...but with liquid it's just like a block of color...you can get hypo-allergenic powder stuff if the ones you use make your eyes itchy!

What is a good brand of eye shadow and place to buy it?
I need eye shadow because i have none pretty much. Whats a good kind to get? What is a good brand of eye shadow and place to buy it?
MAC.You can get it online http://www.maccosmetics.com/ or at their store http://www.maccosmetics.com/locator/.What is a good brand of eye shadow and place to buy it?
cover girl or MAC. my personal choice is MAC, but cover girl is good too. you can buy it anywhere like target and MAC has it's own store they are usually in the malls so check ur local malls for the store to see if there is one.
I absolutely love my L'oreal Wear Infinite eyeshadow. I have the 823 Kerry's Bronzes and 506 Rose Fields. They're my favorite eyeshadow to wear because they last long I don't need to keep on re-applying it on, they're so pretty I can wear them where ever I go, and its easy to apply because it basically gives you instructions on the back. You can buy it at any drug store, I usually get mine at Walgreens. And it's super cheap like $8ish. Hope this helped!

This is the one I just got and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. These are two reviews by a couple You Tubers I subscribe too.
I love Urban Decay for the variety of colors and shimmer. Stila also makes good neutral, everyday eyeshadows in matte and shimmer. Both brands can be found at Sephora.
Mac is good but expensive.
get the 88 make up palette by coastal scent. Its really good for starters and is good quality.

check out sephora! they have a ton of different brands of eyeshadow and they also have eyeshadow palettes.http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jh鈥?/a>
Bobbi Brown has some amazing shades of eye shadow. You can get a palette of a couple colors, which lasts a decent amount of time and come in great complimentary shades. You can get these at most department stores (Macy's, Nordstrom, etc)
If that's a bit too expensive, though, I suggest Revlon. I own many of their eyeshadows and have been very happy with them. You can get them anywhere, CVS, Walgreens, etc.

Is there any tick to make my eyes look greener besides wearing contacts and wearing hevy green eye shadow?
My eyes are green/blue up close my eyes are very green however from a distance they are blue. I need some tips on how to ';play-up'; my eye color and make my eyes look greener.
I have tried wearing green eye shadow but it look ugly!Is there any tick to make my eyes look greener besides wearing contacts and wearing hevy green eye shadow?
purple mascara and brown eyeliner, complementary colors make each other stand outIs there any tick to make my eyes look greener besides wearing contacts and wearing hevy green eye shadow?
I love wearing purple eyeshadows, any shade really, or browns/pinks. I even have purple mascara from the Almay, and I always wear a natural looking eyeliner on the bottom.
Browns and pinks are also good for blue eyes, so you should be safe with all three of those colors :)
wearing green eyeliner helps to bring out the green in your eyes.
Alsowearing orangey brown shadows brings out green.
U can try the collection from Almay they have like makeup just for green eyes or blue eyes.

What are good eye shadow brands to last the whole day?
i love eyeshadow i think it makes you look so pretty.i need eyeshadow that you can tell that you have it on and that lasts the whole day. What are good eye shadow brands to last the whole day?
MAC. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth every penny if you want it to stay on all day. Because it stays on all day, don't forget to buy some makeup remover because it'll be hard to remove this makeup with just toilet paper. What are good eye shadow brands to last the whole day?
Models Prefer, Smashbox %26amp; Laura Geller all sold on QVC. I find that I don't even need primer with them. They have a lot of pigment %26amp; don't crease.
You can't go wrong with MAC
top 2 favorites are Mac and TIGI/BEDHEAD!!!! they are a little high but well worth it!
ONES SOLD AT THE PLASTIC SURGEONS MAKE UP STUDIOS.......
I like Loreal or Rimmel. Good luck!!!
Kiwi black shoe polish.
mac..
Use a sharpie!
Or you could try not wearing any. You'll look much less slutty and you won't have to worry it lasting the day.
you know what the trick is to put concealer under the shadow.
i like mac theyre make up is really good.... emmmm clinique and estee lauder, lancome, and stuff like that is really good. loreal hip is okay and i love the colors!
Mary Kay is my favorite. It lasts all day and they have a nice variety of colors.
Put a lid primer on your lids first and your eye shadow will last all day and night. A good one that I use is by Urban Decay. Then I use Bare Escentuals eye shadows on top. They are rich and creamy and dont have any binders or fillers so they dont irritate my eyes.
I love the texture of revlon... but loreal is more lasting. Texture I think s what makes the make up brand a good one. Another good one is Bobbi Brown.. love the shades and texture.
if youre looking for something affordable, maybelline
MAC and Mary Kay http://www.marykay.com/s_azad/color/eyes鈥?/a>
Avon!!! I put it on early in the morning and it still there when I get home late at night.
Loreal
NYX or Flirt!
Try MAC - they not only have a wide range of eyeshadows (textures, finishes and colours), and they do last for hours. If you really want your eyes to standout, use the shimmery ones, because the shimmer makes your eyes 'pop'.
One trick to make eyeshadow last longer, use an eye cream, then use concealer over it, followed by powder - eyeshadow will hold longer.
acrylic laex .. stays on for daysss :)
michaels craft canada.. like 99垄 ...and alll the colors you couldhope for and beyond

What color of eye shadow should i use? What other makeup should i wear?
I'm between the ages of 12 and 13 I have dark brow kinda straight hair and dark brown eyes and i have a kinda rosy face. What color of eye shadow and what other makeup should i use? What color of eye shadow should i use? What other makeup should i wear?
At your age I think you should just experiment. As a Blonde with blue-eyes and a rosy complexion, I was told that Pink eyeshadow would look terrible on me... but I look great with it on! It's different for different people. If you start experimenting at your age (you've got a great head start!) you should find your favourite colours by your mid-teens. Make up is supposed to be fun.... so have fun! What color of eye shadow should i use? What other makeup should i wear?
Eyeshadow: a neutral color- light brown to dark brown
Lip Gloss: a soft pink
Blush: a bright pink
Mascara: Cover Girl lash blast
:)

What colour of eye shadow would look good on me?
I have a light-caramel skin colour with medium darkness brown eyes and hair that ranges from dark brown in fall, winter, and spring, to dark caramel in the summer. My cheeks have a bit of a dark pink tint but I enhance it with a little blush. I have side bangs if that helps (trying to be as specific as possible) and my lips are naturally a very dark pink. What colours of makeup would look good on me? Any polite suggestions please - thanks. What colour of eye shadow would look good on me?
I have the exact same coloring as you and my best eyshadows are pink for a light day look and bronze or gold for an evening look. Dark eyeliner is best. For cheek color I use a berry tint (or bronzer blush in the summer). For my lips I usually just line them with a nude shade that matches my lips and then use a sheer nude or berry gloss, but I have big lips so too much lip color doesn't look good on me. If my lips were thinner I would use a berry or raisin colored lipstick. What colour of eye shadow would look good on me?
aha, golden ,pale colors.generally, try find lipsticks that are like your natural lip color, but a lil more bright so that it will make your lips stick out.generally, natural, warm colors ,i think, look good on you.pale, goldish beje, purple, but pale, not bright.i don't know, stuff like that.even brown,or yellowish green,to make your eye color stick out too...but keep it natural.
Whatever God gave you is the perfect eye colour honey.
You might give gray a try; it seems to look most natural on the eyelids.
Stick with makeup shade as close to your own skintone as you can find. Want a pick-me-up? Try a little dab of either glitter over the eyeshadow or a dot of white right in the middle close to your lashes. Stick with the tawny shades of lipstick if you need it. Have you yet tried this mineral based makeup they advertise on TV? Sounds like it's everybody's answer!
ok so ur skin is kinda like mine,I wear dark browns, bronze colors, plums and pinks, the real treat with our skin color is that we can use any color actually cause almost every color looks good, stay away from pale eyeshadow cause it will be very hard to see in our skin color. for night makeup use dark colors like dark brown, dark blue, plums or an off black and also cream shadows in dark greens or even a golden powder shadow but only for night, cause in day you´ll look way too sparkly. use a dark brow eyeliner for day or night or u can also use a black liner for night. for your cheeks use a bronzer for day, neutrogena has a great one. and for night a dark pink blush. and for your lips use natural color gloss or brownish/pink lip gloss u can pass on the lip liner if u like. no need for foundation, but use a translucid non comedogenic compressed powder to eliminate brightness on your T-zone. Hope to be of help!
natural colors will never go wrong on anyone! use a light brown (semi-sparkly) eyeshadow then add black/brown eyeliner to the top and bottom and mascara! good luck
definately some naturally tinted eyeshadows. how about some light bronz or maybe (if u wanna go bold for a nite out partyin!!) Inca gold w/ a little Granite in the crease of ur eyes. some brown eyeliner (dont wanna go TOO dark) and curl those lashes and brown/black mascara! my best friend in the world is mascara. it's good 2 u.
i like subtle colors so i would say a bronze or sparkly tan. nothing wacky.
pink purple or bronze

ok so ur skin is kinda like mine,I wear dark browns, bronze colors, plums and pinks, the real treat with our skin color is that we can use any color actually cause almost every color looks good, stay away from pale eyeshadow cause it will be very hard to see in our skin color. for night makeup use dark colors like dark brown, dark blue, plums or an off black and also cream shadows in dark greens or even a golden powder shadow but only for night, cause in day you´ll look way too sparkly. use a dark brow eyeliner for day or night or u can also use a black liner for night. for your cheeks use a bronzer for day, neutrogena has a great one. and for night a dark pink blush. and for your lips use natural color gloss or brownish/pink lip gloss u can pass on the lip liner if u like. no need for foundation, but use a translucid non comedogenic compressed powder to eliminate brightness on your T-zone.

What is the best eye shadow for these eye colours?
What is the best coloured eye shadow to use for greeny/hazel eyes and brown eyes? We are both brunette and have pale skin. Our eye lashes are dark.
ThanksWhat is the best eye shadow for these eye colours?
for hazel eyes th best colour would be purple to make your eyes look more greener. What is the best eye shadow for these eye colours?
I have the same type of eye and hair color as well as skin type. A lot depends on my mood. If I want them to pop and say I'm going to a party I like using a dark green on the outside and a lighter green on the inside... that's for a fun look though
for a more business look I tone it way down I use a cream color for my base, then on the outside I use a maroon type color I apply it lightly... I don't want it extremely dark...I want a smoky type look... then I also apply a little under my eye but towards the inside instead of the outside. The third color I use Is a deep carmel color.. this I apply to the areas I didn't apply the maroon too (again applying lightly). After that I simply make sure all colors blend nicely together. :) Sometime I put a little hint of Gold in as well If I'm going out say to a resturant or dinner party... but again that's done very lightly. you want to make sure you don't over do it otherwise instead of highlighting your eyes you'll be masking them. I hope I helped :D
Brown eyes look good with shades like brown, gold, copper... black if it's used right. Depends if your skin's more warm or cool toned - think about what colour clothes suit you and go from there, that's usually the best thing!
Why don't you go to a big department store and have them make up your face and watch what they use? It's usually free.prom hair

What eye shadow makes your eyes stand out?
I have gray eyes? What eye shadow should i buy? What eye shadow makes your eyes stand out?
I tend to go with very light colors for the majority of the eye lid, and then a hint of color using liner with a little same colored shadow on the top lid to accentuate color. Check out these sites for tips and looks that are gorgeous.

well, I think that with grey eyes, a dark blue would look good, or one of those new revlon liqiudy gold eye shadows would look good. also, try light pink..whateveer you do, don't use any thing darker than gold, no black or silver!
earthy tones
WHITE EYE SHADOW AND LINER MAKES UR EYE STAND OUT! TRUST ME!
try blues or greens they will bring out the light color in your eyes

It gives advice based on your overall appearance(ie tone) not just eye color..check it out. hope it helps.
if you have a beautiful eyes you don't need and eye shadow...just put some mascara to make your ayes look bigger
It really isn't adviseable to wear a shadow that's the same color as your eyes. Try warm eye shadow colors such as brown or orange with a touch of gold.
put a little white eye shadow in the corners of your eyes (closest to your nose)
blue! it would go great with gray eyes!

What are some good eye shadow colors for brown eyes?
Nothing to bright like orange or something. I tend to go for more subtle colors. What are some good eye shadow colors for brown eyes?
Being neutral, brown eyes can go with almost anything. Plums, purples, lavenders, and burgundies are especially attractive. Also, take a close look at the color right around the pupil of the eye - it's usually light brown or green - and use that color as a highlight color on the lid between lashline and crease - it really makes that secondary color ';pop'; and people notice more depth to your eye color. What are some good eye shadow colors for brown eyes?
Eye color should match your hair, so that means darker, smokier colors for brunettes, lighter, peachier tones for blondes, and earth tones for redheads.
i use dark eyeliner for light skin, maybe light brown for darker skin.
i like black.....
I suggest some of the Revlon creme shadows. Their colors are delicate and tend to suite brown eyes. Try the ';champagne';.
every color would match with brown.I like bronzes and red the most and black ;)
I have brown eyes and I find almost any color works. Browns and greens, bronzes and golds compliment. Pinks and purples and blues contrast for some real eye opening effects if you know what I mean. Brown eyes rule.
DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN COLOR,IF YOU ARE OLIVE,THEN PINKS,LIGHT BLUE,GRAY,BLAck,YELLOW always use a shimmer shadow,IF YOU ARE LIGHTER SKINNED,THEN USE A DAKER BLUE OR MAROON.
Brown is definitly the most versatile color of eyes, especially if it is very light or very dark. I am experienced in makeup and I must admit that light brown, green, olive color, or creamy peach/shrimp shades work best. However, stay away from black eyeliners, which seem to darken eyes no matter what color eyeshadow you have on!
You should apply brown and gold eyeshadow. Or, substitute gold with a dark purple.

How can i get smokey eyes with just mascara and eye shadow?
I want to look pretty tomorow and i would like smokey eyes. any advice on how to do them easily? How can i get smokey eyes with just mascara and eye shadow?
Yes!
I know exactly what you should do!
You need to get a grey eyeshadow and blend it with a dull blue. That would look great! Use black or dark grey eyeshadow to put on the bottom of your eyelid so it will look like a cool eye liner.
Use mascara and elongate your lashes.
Good luck. :)How can i get smokey eyes with just mascara and eye shadow?
heey! :)
lol, i'm thirteenn yrs. old and i am very good at doing makeup so i am gonna help you as best as i cann :) %26lt;3
alrightyy this is very simple! :) get a dark brown eyeliner and draw a thin line on the top lid. it's okay if it's not perfect because then your going to smudge it, so it acts like a base and a ';quick eyeshadow';. after that, just get a matte (dull) corduroy brown colour to put on top of that smudge eyeliner, and a darker brown in the crease. put on some black eyeliner BUT do the quick lining technique. (I'll leave a link at the bottom to show you what the tight lining technique is!) as well, put black liner on the bottom too on the water line! afterr that, put some mascara on, BUT ONE TIP: the more mascara you put on, the easier it will clump and will not show off your lashes. so put three codes of mascara on maximum. :) put some mascara onto your bottom lashes too! hope this helps! this is just the classic smokey eye! :)
